Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4, 1954) is a Canadian-American actress and comedian. O'Hara has won numerous prizes, including the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award), two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In the year 2018, she was appointed an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara first became known as an actress in 1974 as a member of The Second City in Toronto. With John Candy and Dan Aykroyd she was part of the main ensemble of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). The next year, O'Hara and Candy began work on the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984) and she earned the attention of critics for both her performance as a comedic actor and writer, winning an award called the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the new Second City artistic advisory board headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
